Film Landscapes

Saturday, July 24, 2010

These are all taken up on Mount Evans, which is at 14,000 some feet. It's a very beautiful and scarily tall place. When we went it was 46 degrees and very windy, so pretty cold. But I'd like to go back sometime.

To give credit where I feel credit is due, I must say that photographing landscapes in film reminds me an awful lot of Jocelyn Catterson's work. I did not go out a shoot these intending to emulate her, I merely shot what I saw, but once I got my film back I couldn't get her photostream out of my head, so I feel a little link is in order.
