My words are not very good for summing up big things, like an entire year. My words are good for describing little things and moments. So instead of some speech on what 2012 was for me, or what I accomplished, or how I feel about it, have this images instead. Some lost frames of 2012, some little overlooked pieces of my life. 12 images can never really sum up a year. There are littles things that have gone past, undocumented, and bigs things that have gone past, fully documented, that are not shared here. These are just a few pieces with which I will try to compose a puzzle.

I don't know what 2013 will bring for me. I have a few resolutions, that are of course, terribly close sighted to my world right now. These include...

Eating better & drinking more water. (An easy one to include on the list and somehow the hardest to be held to.)
Finishing up my thesis with happiness. (The happiness of having the luxury to spend time on my work, of knowing that I'm getting to do what I love.)
Facing the future knowingly & without fear. (Mostly being financially optimistic and knowing where I stand.)
Being a better friend to Crrr. (Keeping in touch)

Hope everyone had a good New Years and is looking forward to 2013 :)

  1. I love the way you see the world. And I think it's an excellent choice to make the effort to include happiness in your artwork and thesis. Too often (especially while in an art program!) we forget to be happy, and I think that's the best thing you can do for yourself. Happy new year!
